Merch Underground is a concept formed by a group of like minded individuals within the arts and entertainment community. The brick and mortar idea spawned as a venue for local and regional artists and musicians to permanently represent and display their artistic medium. One of our other specialties is our design and printing capabilities, utilizing the dye-sublimation method. We offer many garment types, but the hook for MU is the softness of our material. Our research has led us to the best quality garments while keeping cost within reason.

Dye-Sublimation caters but is not limited to the customer that is looking for a lower number of garments. Colors are limitless. Print one shirt at a time! If you are an artist who would love your design on a nice shirt, then this is a stop you need to make.

In addition, our tools can be used by anyone with an idea and a design looking to customize sports apparel, jerseys, bags, hats, canvas pictures, or any other printable surface they may want to add a personalized touch to. The retail outlet further provides Historic Charleston a place to purchase quality band merchandise, artwork, audio equipment, and surf and skate gear from reputable brands as Skull Candy, Arbor, Ogio, and Alternative Apparel.
